Deena Piquion is the Chief Marketing Officer for Xerox Corporation. Deena and her husband Jean-Marc have two children and have lived in Doral Sands for over 10 years. Deena is passionate about her work, health and wellness and her community. Jean-Marc is an entrepreneur and Mateo and Maya attend Divine Savior Academy.  Deena is actively engaged in her community and is a dynamic blogger who created her own branded platform to share her tips on personal and professional growth with an engaged following in her industry. Matthew Pape

Matthew “Matt” Pape is a consultant and former marketing director (retired) of Ryder System, a Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company with a long history in the Doral community. Matt has a BS in Business from Indiana University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Miami. He and his wife, Marina, have three grown children, and have lived in various single family and condominium communities throughout Miami for the past 37 years. Matt brings the perspective of a relatively new homeowner, having moved to the Sands in 2021.

Community Board Members

Homeowners’ associations cannot function without the faithful few that help keep it running smoothly. This group of people are called the HOA Board of Directors (BOD). The HOA BOD fulfills specific tasks so that everything runs smoothly and the community thrives. 

The three main responsibilities for board members include: maintaining common areas, managing budgets/fiscal responsibilities, and enforcing/complying with governing documents. The board of directors’ members are elected into their positions by other members within the community and the existing board.
